While I photograph primarily in digital, I often mix in 35mm film throughout a session depending on the light, location, and overall feel we’re creating. Film adds a softness and depth that feels beautifully organic and timeless.
Blending digital and film allows me to preserve your moments with both reliability and artistry — creating a gallery that feels nostalgic, natural, and true to your family.

Kids don’t need to “behave” for your session to be beautiful. I expect movement, energy, and personality. Some of the most meaningful images come from the in-between moments — cuddles after big feelings, laughter during chaos, the way they reach for you. Your job is simply to be present with them.
What if my kids don't cooperate?
I gently guide you when needed, but I don’t overly pose or force stiff smiles. I use natural prompts and movement to help you connect with each other. Most families tell me it felt more like spending time together than being photographed.
We feel awkward in front of the camera. Will you pose us?
Neutral, earthy tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on connection rather than outfits. Soft textures and layers add depth. I’m always happy to help you plan — once you book, I’ll send a simple style guide to make it easy.
What should we wear?
Sessions can take place outdoors during golden hour or in the comfort of your home. In-home sessions are perfect for a cozy, documentary feel. If you choose to do an outdoor session we’ll choose a location that feels natural and meaningful to your family.
Where do sessions take place?
Your home doesn’t need to be perfect. I look for light and connection, not spotless rooms. Often we only use one or two areas with beautiful natural light. Real life is welcome here.
What if our home isn't "photo ready"?
You can expect your fully edited online gallery within 2 weeks. I carefully edit each image to maintain a timeless, natural look.
How long does it take to receive our gallery?
Yes. Your session includes a private online gallery with high-resolution digital images ready for download and printing.
Do we receive digital files?
Absolutely. The Full Family Session is ideal for extended families. Additional family members may be added for $25 per person after six people.
Can we include grandparents or extended family?
To reserve your date, email, text or call. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your family or newborn session and 30% for events.
How do we book?
I lightly retouch temporary blemishes while keeping skin tones and details natural. My editing style is timeless and true-to-life, focusing on preserving real connection rather than over-editing.
